Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Double Process (Med/Long) Touch-Up.
Appointments typically last 90 to 150 minutes depending on hair density, length, and the complexity of color matching. Extra time may be needed for bond treatments or additional toning to protect previously lightened hair.
Yes. We use strand testing, protective olaplex-style bond builders, and careful timing to minimize damage. Your stylist monitors hair condition throughout, adjusting formulas and processing to prioritize health and reduce breakage.
This service is designed for new growth over one inch. If regrowth is less, a standard root retouch may suffice; our stylists will assess hair and recommend the appropriate service for optimal color and integrity.
No, not when performed correctly. We protect lightened lengths with precise application and barrier techniques, applying fresh formula only to the regrowth and toning as needed to blend without reprocessing the ends.
Yes. We recommend sulfate-free shampoos, color-safe conditioners, and weekly bond-repair treatments. Your stylist will provide specific product recommendations and a maintenance plan to preserve tone, shine, and hair strength between visits.
Most clients return every 6 to 10 weeks depending on growth rate and desired look. Your stylist will customize timing based on color fade, bond-treatment schedule, and hair health to keep results consistent and healthy.
