Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Platinum, Cut, Straightener Service.
This service includes a staged triple-process lightening to platinum, a precision pixie cut, professional straightening, and an in-salon K18 bond-repair treatment. A pre-service consultation evaluates hair history, desired result, and timing for a safe, customized plan.
Ideal candidates have pixie-length hair, a healthy baseline, and realistic expectations. Consultation reviews previous color, elasticity, and scalp condition to determine if the triple-process platinum is safe or if alternative planning is needed.
Appointments typically last three to six hours depending on hair density, previous color, and required lifts. Consultation and stylist planning are included; exact timing is provided at booking to accommodate multiple lightening steps and precision cutting.
K18 is a peptide-based bond-repair applied after lightening to rebuild broken keratin connections. It restores elasticity and reduces breakage without relaxers, working internally rather than coating hair, and complements the straightening step for healthier results.
No chemical relaxer is used in this Platinum, Cut, Straightener Service. We rely on staged lightening, K18 bond-repair, and professional thermal straightening techniques to smooth hair while protecting integrity. Your stylist will review heat settings and aftercare to minimize damage.
Aftercare includes sulfate-free shampoos, regular K18 home treatments as recommended, daily heat protection, and gentle detangling. Schedule toners and trims every few weeks as advised in consultation to maintain platinum tone and the pixie shape.
